of relational Gestalt Therapy so that they can incorporate them into and
apply them in their everyday work.

• Therapist and client support for risk taking
• The mutual relationship between client and therapist
• Therapists use of Self
• Use of here and now awareness
• Supporting the emergence of change
COURSE
STRUCTURE
The structure of the course is to gradually build from experiential
exercises and theory input to practising therapy. This is done
with the help and guidance of supervision and facilitation and
gradually builds from practising small segments of therapy to
full sessions.
Participants will at different times work in
small groups, in the role of the client, therapist or observer.
It is in moving through these three “roles” that the
learning takes place. The course will develop dynamically according
to the needs of each individual participant.
Each two days of the course will give time to working in the larger group. Participants will get the opportunity to experience contact at the three levels of intrapersonal, interpersonal and the wider group system. For people with an interest in going on to develop skills in working with groups this can be a useful experential learning environment.
