Pádraig Timmons

Pádraig is an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist. He sees therapy as a collaborative venture where a person can discover surprising new resources to equip them to meet life’s losses and challenges. It provides the space and time for a person to look at their life, and investigate new ways to approach it. It also provides a place where a person can come to terms with loss and find the strength to move on.

A person can gain new awareness in how they are relating to other people and to life’s challenges. With the awareness can come the opportunity to relate differently or to move to a place of deeper self acceptance.

Pádraig has a particular interest in Gestalt therapy with its focus on the relationship, the here and now, and tapping into a person’s creativity. His professional training in the therapy field was undertaken with the Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy and he has undertaken two postgraduate courses in working with the Gestalt Process in the Dublin Gestalt Centre.

Areas of focus include:
–    Anxiety
–    Stress
–    Adjusting to living in another country
–   Workplace issues
–    Challenges a person is facing with relationships
