DIPLOMA IN SUPERVISION: a Relational Gestalt Model (2017 and (2018)

This diploma course in Gestalt Supervision offers a Gestalt Process model of supervision and has been designed to meet the training requirements as proposed by both the IACP and IAHIP for accredited supervisors. The Gestalt model used in this course uses the supervisory relationship as the basis for an integrative approach to supervision, thus there is a strong focus on the skills necessary to support and explore the supervisory relationship. A central focus will be on the interactive process as it is reflected in the supervision process, paying attention in particular to the here and now relationship as a mirror or parallel of the therapist and client relationship. The full range of tasks and responsibilities of supervision will be explored, with practice and demonstration on how to hold these tasks in the supervisory relationship. There will be opportunities to practice supervision in small groups with one of the facilitators present. Participants will also be introduced to using Art in Supervision. This workshop will be facilitated by Anne Burke MSc(Child Art Psychotherapy inc Adolescents)MSc (Psychotherapy) Diploma Gestalt therapy.
