Kay has been involved in the design and delivery of the Gestalt Supervision Course: A Gestalt Relational Model since its inception in 2005. Since then the Gestalt model that has emerged in the DGC is strongly phenomenological, relational and embodied. We hold that human beings throughout their lives can emerge anew into relationship, shaping them and being shaped by them. This philosophy is carried through into her Supervision practice and she hopes into this workshop.
The Relationship that will emerge between Supervisor and Supervisee is crucial to the development of the Supervisees work as Therapist. It is also transformative for the Supervisor. It is the process of paying attention to our unfolding process while talking about clients and being able to bring this into our Relationship with our Supervisor, where it can be heard and not judged that is key to good Supervision. This takes time and space, be prepared not to hurry if you do this workshop.
