Hilary Maher
Hilary completed her four-year qualification in counselling and psychotherapy with the Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre in 2008. Her training is in Integrative and Humanistic Psychotherapy, in other words, therapy that is non-judgemental and person-centred.
She has also undertaken training in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy and in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (body-based). She brings a range of different approaches to her work, depending on the needs and capacity of individual clients.
Hilary has worked with a wide range of clients including those who come to therapy to deal with anxiety, depression, problematic relationships, early-life difficulties, addictions and eating disorders, bereavement, the impact of physical illness, recovery from trauma, identity crises, low self-esteem, and other difficult ‘life events’.
Hilary is happy to work with clients both remotely (video call) and in-person.
